The first step is to arrange a visit so we can discuss your project. If you live within 20 miles of my base in Loose, near Maidstone, this visit is free of charge. If you are further afield I charge for my travelling expenses only, which will be agreed prior to the visit. After this initial meeting I'll write to you detailing my charges and terms of engagement. If you decide you would like to go ahead I will arrange another visit to conduct a full survey, site analysis and briefing interview.

This is my opportunity to find out what you like and dislike in a garden, colour themes, styles, favourite plants etc. I'll also talk to you about how you plan to use the garden...entertaining, area for the children to play, quiet chill out zone, plantsmans paradise etc..

My next step will be to produce some outline designs for you to consider. These will draw on the information gained at the briefing interview and also take into account the potential and drawbacks of your site. Once a final design has been agreed I will draw up a full set of plans.

It will now be time to decide if you would like me simply to provide you with the plans so you can take the project forward, or engage me to see it through and hand over a fully completed garden.
