The 'small is beautiful' garden
The client, a young professional, wanted a peaceful retreat to potter, sip a glass of wine and relax after a busy day. Although interested in plants, she had no gardening experience, so plants which are easy to care for were chosen. By using 'doorways' to divide the space and choosing two very different paving materials it was possible to create three distinct areas, making the space seem larger and much more interesting. A comprehensive plant maintenance schedule was also provided.
